Refund Policy

We want Plant Identify purchases to feel fair and transparent. This Refund Policy explains how we review refund requests for purchases made on plantidentify.org.

1. General Policy

Because digital credits and subscription access can be consumed immediately after purchase, refunds are reviewed case by case. We consider usage, delivery status, technical issues, duplicate charges, and applicable law.

2. When Refunds May Be Approved

  • Duplicate or accidental charges.
  • Unauthorized purchases reported promptly.
  • Verified technical failures that prevented reasonable use of purchased credits or subscription features.
  • Cases where a purchase was completed but credits or access were not properly delivered.

3. When Refunds Are Usually Not Available

  • Credits or subscription benefits have already been substantially used.
  • The request is based only on dissatisfaction with a specific identification result, where the Service was delivered as described.
  • The request is made long after purchase without evidence of a billing or technical issue.
  • Free promotional credits or trial benefits were used.

4. Subscription Cancellations

If you cancel a subscription, cancellation will typically take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law. Charges already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable unless the request qualifies under this policy.

5. How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit a request through the Refund Application page or email support@plantidentify.org.
  2. Include your order number, account email, purchase date, and a short explanation of the issue.
  3. If relevant, include screenshots or other details that help us verify the problem.

6. Review Timeline

We usually respond within 3 to 5 business days. If a refund is approved, it is generally returned to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days, depending on the payment provider and bank.

7. Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems, please contact support before requesting a refund whenever possible. In many cases, we can restore access, reissue credits, or resolve the issue faster than a refund.
